The hit animated feature will no longer be a hardware exclusive come January.
In an early announcement to retailers, Universal is planning to bring 'Coraline - 3D' to retailers on the Blu-ray 3D format on January 4.
The title was previously only available as part of Panasonic's starter kit and a 3D (red/blue)/2D version of this family film has already been released on Blu-ray.
The release will be a Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD combo pack and will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and the only known supplement so far is an audio commentary with director Henry Selick and composer Bruno Coulais.
Suggested list price for the 3D Blu-ray is still undetermined at this time.
