Original game offered as a PSN pre-order bonus.
SEGA and Disney Interactive have announced that 'Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse,' "the fantastical reimagining of the original SEGA® Genesis classic," will be available to download on the PlayStation Network on September 3rd, and on Xbox Live Arcade and for PC on September 4th.
The game will be priced at $15 and 1200 MS Points respectively.
Most intriguing of all is Disney's PlayStation pre-order offer. ($20 Sony Playstation Network Card) "For a limited time only, customers in North America who pre-order Castle of Illusion on PlayStation®Network from August 20th to September 2nd will receive the original Genesis version of game, one pre-order exclusive dynamic theme and three avatars. Customers will be able to download the original game immediately after pre-ordering."
As for the reimagined version, 'Castle of Illusion' will feature all-new HD graphics and gameplay. Just like the original game, the new version starts with the evil witch Mizrabel kidnapping Minnie, compelling Mickey to traverse the Castle of Illusion with its rebellious toys, enchanted forests and mazes of living books.
