Because what good would a fancy car be without a fancy sound system to go with it?
If you're picking up a brand new BMW 6 Series Coupe or Convertible, you're already prepared to spend more on your car than most. You're shelling out a good chunk of change for style and luxury, so why not dole out the extra dollar or two for a sound system to match?
The optional sound system for the 6 Series Coupe and Convertible is provided by Bang & Olufsen and it's damn impressive. The system offers five tweeters and five mid-range drivers to provide a good range of sound and both the driver and passenger's front seats sport a subwoofer underneath.
There's more to B&O's new system than just speakers though. There's a technology called Dynamic Sound Optimization, for example, that adjusts sound based on road noise, rain and other things that change sound in your cabin. It also automatically tweaks your audio whenever the convertible top is raised or lowered.
Bang & Olufsen's new sound system will be available on the 6 Series Coupe and Convertible, both of which will be available for sale this fall.
