PC version expected alongside console versions in early 2014.
Thanks to a series of Tweets from Capcom, Street Fighter fans looking forward to the 360 and PS3 release of 'Ultra Street Fighter IV' can add one more platform for the preeminent fighting game's latest installment, the PC. A PC version had been an elusive and uncertain detail since the game's announcement at Evo 2013. All three previous flavors of 'Street Fighter IV' had made their way to the PC, making a PC version of 'Ultra Street Fighter IV' likely.
Not only should fans be pleased by the revelation of a PC version of 'Ultra Street Fighter VI,' and its similar release window, but there is one major change that should please many PC fans. Unlike the previous PC installments, 'Ultra Street Fighter IV' for the PC will not be built on the troublesome Games for Windows Live platform. By ditching GFWL, Capcom has raised hopes that their next choice for on online system will improve play experience not only for 'Ultra Street Fighter IV,' but for all future fighting games from the company.
'Ultra Street Fighter IV' is bringing five new characters and six new stages amid some other updates and balances changes to 'Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition.' The new characters include Hugo, Elena, Poison, Rolento, and yet unrevealed new character.
'Ultra Street Fighter IV' is due out in early 2014, and is available to pre-order.
