Console upgrade coming two months ahead of other versions.
Capcom has shared pricing and release dates for 'Ultra Street Fighter IV,' the latest version of 2008's 'Street Fighter IV.' Citing hopes that a version would be out for players to practice with for Evolution 2014, the 'Ultra Street Fighter IV' console upgrade version (360 and PS3), which upgrades either 'Super Street Fighter IV' or 'Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Version', will be out in early June for $14.99.
Then in August a stand-alone console version of 'Ultra Street Fighter IV' will be released for $39.99. An upgrade version for the PC versions of 'Super Street Fighter IV' or 'Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Version' will also be released in August for $14.99 alongside a stand-alone version for $29.99.
From Capcom, "Apologies to our PC fans, as we did want to release simultaneously, but this was the only way that we could ensure that Ultra Street Fighter IV would be included in the largest fighting game tournament in the world."
The stand-alone versions for the three platforms will include all previously released costume DLC in addition to the game's five new fighters, six new stages, and balance changes. Capcom has yet to formally mention any version for either the Xbox One or PS4.
