"All-new disc-based alternative."
'DuckTales: Remastered,' Capcom's HD remake and redesign of the NES era platforming classic is already available on the PS3, Wii U, PC and more recently the 360, as a downloadable title. A boxed download voucher for PSN and collectible pin was offered at some retailers when the game launched, but now Capcom has detailed a disc-based retail version.
The disc-based boxed version will be offered for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U. The retail version will be priced at $20, just like the earlier boxed download voucher but $5 more than the digital version. Many fans had been asking for a disc version in the months leading up to the game's release, but with a release date of November 12, this "disc-based alternative" release has the feel of a double-dip.
