Vera Farmiga's directorial debut is set for high-definition in the new year.
In an early announcement to retailers, Sony says 'Higher Ground' will have a Blu-ray release on January 10.
The R-rated drama is based on Carolyn S. Briggs' memoir This Dark World and stars Farmiga, Joshua Leonard, and Dagmara Dominczyk.
The Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Commentary with Vera Farmiga, Joshua Leonard, and Renn Hawkey; Production diary; The Substance of Things Hoped For: Making Higher Ground; Toe Sucking; Meeting of the Men; and Grave.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $45.99.
