Ice pick-wielding killers, animated fairies and a whiff of marijuana lead Lionsgate Home Entertainment's just-announced Blu-ray lineup for May.
It's a rather diverse group, led by the recent animated flick 'Happily N'Ever After,' featuring the voices of Sarah Michelle Gellar, Andy Dick and Sigourney Weaver, on May 1.
That will be followed by 'Basic Instinct,' the blockbuster thriller that catapulted Sharon Stone to fame, on May 29. Also due that same day is the Emmy-winning ensemble drama 'Weeds: Season One,' which marks Lionsgate's first entry into the TV on HD sweepstakes.
The studio has not yet announced tech specs or supplemental details for any of the releases, but we expect details to be revealed in the coming days.
Lionsgate has set a suggested list price of $29.95 for each title.
Stay tuned for more info in the days ahead, and we've added fresh listings for all three titles to our Blu-ray Release Schedule.
