Making an early announcement to retailers, Bandai Visual has set an early-January Blu-ray date for 'Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence.'
A follow-up to the seminal anime 'Ghost in the Shell,' the sequel will receive its high-def premiere on January 13. (Bandai previously released a DVD version in 2005.)
Bandai has not yet released tech or supplement specs for the Blu-ray. Preliminary details do indicate a special edition, so we expect plenty of extras. We'll keep you posted.
Suggested list price for each Blu-ray has been set at $39.98.
You'll find the latest specs for 'Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under January 13.
