Looks like November/December for the PC version.
'Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag' is still in the midst of an interesting lead up to its fall/winter release. It remains to be seen if the game can capture the same sales numbers that 'Assassins Creed III' managed, but likely the greatest single attraction for this sixth and latest console version of 'Assassin's Creed' is the fact that it will be a launch title for both the Xbox One and the PS4.
There will still be versions for the current generation of consoles. The Xbox 360 version will be out first on October 26th, followed by the PS3 and Wii U versions on October 29th. The Xbox One and PS4 versions will follow with the systems' launches, November for the Xbox One and "Holiday" for the PS4.
That just leaves the PC, which when it comes to the 'Assassin's Creed' series, means later. From Ashraf Ismail, Ubisoft game director, "We're working hard on the PC version. It's one of the main platforms we work on in the office. For our PC fans, don't worry. The game on PC looks phenomenal." Unfortunately, the PC version won't be out until "a few weeks after" the current-generation of console versions.
While the uncertainty means that the PC version could be out around the same time as the Xbox One and PS4 versions, it seems more likely that the PC version will slip to December.
'Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag' is available to pre-order for all platforms.
