There's no date yet, but Anchor Bay says it is planning to bring the '80s horror faves 'Hellraiser' and 'Children to the Corn' to Blu-ray sometime in the next few months.
Two of the most popular scarefests of their time, both 'Hellraiser' and 'Children of the Corn' would go on to amass their own devoted cult followings as well as spawn a seemingly never-ending series of sequels.
With both titles among the hottest DVD sellers in Anchor Bay's library, the company says they are currently planning to bring both the original 'Hellraiser' and 'Children of the Corn' to Blu-ray as early as this Halloween, or at the latest by the first quarter of 2009.
Given the early nature of the news, there is no word on specs or supplemental details, although both titles have recently been remastered in HD for airing on cable and satellite networks.
We'll certainly keep you posted as soon as further word from Anchor Bay comes to us. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, we've added listings for 'Hellraiser' and 'Children of the Corn' to the "Release Dates Pending" section of our Blu-ray Release Schedule.
