Amazon has released an official trailer for the third season of 'Transparent.' The show is set to premiere exclusively through Amazon Prime Video on September 23.
The Emmy Award and Golden Globe-winning series 'Transparent' returns for a third season. The Pfefferman family splinters into disparate journeys on their continued path of self-discovery. After a jarring reality check, Maura seeks to become the woman she envisions through gender confirmation surgery. All paths converge on a family cruise to Mexico, affirming that though their family history is murky, each Pfefferman is their truest self when they come together.

The show is written, directed and executive produced by multi-award winner Jill Soloway, and stars Jeffrey Tambor, Amy Landecker, Judith Light, Gaby Hoffmann, and Jay Duplass. Seasons one and two of 'Transparent' are now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Likewise, a fourth season of the show has already been ordered for a 2017 debut.

In addition to 'Transparent' Amazon also recently revealed a sneak peek at Woody Allen's new series, 'Crisis in Six Scenes.' Likewise, the streaming platform announced a new series titled 'Britannia,' released a trailer for 'The Man in the High Castle' season two, detailed its 2016 Comedy Pilot Lineup, announced a premiere date for its new original kids series 'The Kicks,' and renewed 'Catastrophe' for a third and fourth season scheduled for 2017 and 2018 respectively.
A current Amazon Prime subscription costs $99 per year or $11 per month. Likewise, Prime Instant Video is available as a standalone service for $8 per month.
