This time around, Paul Walker brings his 'Fast & Furious' expertise to the title role.
20the Century Fox is bringing 'Hitman' back to theaters minus the previous films director, Xavier Gens and lead actor, Timothy Olyphant. With Paul Walker stepping in as Agent 47 (also a possibility for the film's title), first-time director Aleksander Bach will work from a script by Skip Woods.
Skip Woods is credited for writing the script for the 2007 film, suggesting the new film won't be restricted to having much to do with the game series. That movie went on to gross $100 million worldwide and even sported a future Bond girl.
No word yet as to whether or not any of the other 'Fast & Furious' stars have been tagged for Hitman duty.
