It's official, Xbox 360 functionality is coming, as well as an unexpected phone app that sounds very promising.
AT&T finally gave us the official word on Xbox 360 set-top functionality today, as well as adding some info on Windows Phone 7 streaming.
The 360 functionality will allow you to watch live TV, play back recorded and On Demand content as well as utilize interactive apps all while still keeping your Xbox chat and messaging going. The downside is that this added feature isn't coming free, and you'll need an AT&T technician out to install it. New customers can get the kit for $99. If you're already a customer, you'll have to shell out $55 more for installation.
Also coming in November, the U-verse Mobile app will allow any Windows Phone 7 owner access to watch U-verse television right on their phone. If you're not a U-verse subscriber, you'll have to pay $9.99 a month for the service.
