The mobile streaming app now offers more than 50 new live channels.
AT&T has announced the addition of several channels to its live U-Verse mobile app lineup. Likewise, the company has launched app support for the Amazon Kindle Fire HD & HDX, and the Fire phone.
With this latest influx of channels, the app now offers more than 180 live channels. Of that number, more than 100 are available to stream on the go. The list of channels available to watch inside and outside the home now includes stations like ABC Family, Cinemax, CNN, HBO, TNT, TBS, TCM, and HGTV. In addition to the new live viewing options, the U-Verse app also lets customers choose from over 400 hours of EPIX on-demand movies, including popular titles like 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,' 'Skyfall' and 'Star Trek Into Darkness.'
U-Verse customers can now enjoy the new channels on their previously supported smartphones and tablets, and Amazon Kindle Fire HD, HDX, and Fire phone owners can now download the U-Verse app from the Amazon Appstore.
