The previously canceled catalog title is back on track for February.
In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount has just revealed '48 Hrs' will hit high-definition on February 22.
The 1982 action comedy starring Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy was originally slated for a September 15 2009 release, but was mysteriously removed from the release schedule without any reason given.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 soundtrack, and the only supplement appears to be the theatrical trailer.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $29.99.
