In addition to all the original programming on the way, viewers will also get to check out the television premiere of 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.'
3net viewers rejoice! There's more original programming on the way. It's not a lot, but it's enough to give you something new to watch on your fancy schmancy 3D TV.
It all kicks off on October 9th with a show called 'The Ancient Life.' It's all about exploration of, as the title suggests, the ruins of ancient civilizations. It gives you a look at these locations in 3D and aims to give you the feeling of really being there.
On October 13th you'll get to see the first 3D coverage of the Indy 500. It's a one hour special that takes you inside the event and gives you a feel for the work that goes into preparing for the race as well as the emotions of the race itself.
October 16th brings with it 'Hubble 3D,' a documentary narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio that captures five spacewalks as astronauts make repairs to the Hubble telescope. 'World Cities 3D' comes out on the 30th and lets you see sights in modern cities.
Finally, there's 'Scary Tales,' a four episode hour long series with a completely unclear description. It takes place in "a world that really exists if only in our own subconscious," but there's not really any more information than that. So that should be neat. Or not.
