Before you get too excited, no, there won't be any 3D movies at launch.
Sure, it isn't exactly an impressive title to hold considering the ridiculous lack of competition on the market, but the 3DS is the first handheld gaming system to integrate Netflix video streaming. The free app is available to download now for 3DS users.
There isn't anything about the Netflix service for the 3DS that will come as a surprise. You can stream movies and TV shows just like you would on a PC or any other device. You'll need to pay a subscription fee and you'll only be able to access the videos when you have an internet connection.
Though the system is 3D capable, Netflix is not. That means you'll be enjoying 2D video up until Netflix starts adding some 3D content.
