Bryan Singer's box office smash has now been officially dated and detailed for October.
As previously reported, 20th Century Fox is preparing 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack and 'X-Men: Days of Future Past - 3D' Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD combo pack for a release later this year, and now the date has been set for October 14.
The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-Men: Days of Future Past, based on the classic 1981 "Uncanny X-Men" story "Days of Future Past," by writer Chris Claremont and artist John Byrne. The beloved characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class in an epic battle that must change the past to save our future.
The releases will feature 1080p video, lossless 7.1 soundtracks, and supplements include: Deleted Scenes (with Optional Audio Commentary by Bryan Singer), Kitchen Sequence, Gag Reel, Double Take: Xavier & Magneto, X-Men: Reunited, Classification: M, Sentinels: For a Secure Future, Gallery: Trask Industries, Theatrical Trailers, Second Screen App, and Digital HD.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is set at $39.99 and the Blu-ray 3D is $49.99.
Amazon has also listed an exclusive edition that will include a replica of Magneto's helmet for $129.99.
