The last couple of weeks have seen the release of a few interesting new movie trailers. Of the batch we look at this week, Darren Aronofky’s latest film arguably looks the most promising.

I’m not sure if it’s the trailer itself or just the sight of Darren Aronofsky’s name as director, but I’m sold on seeing this. Biblical stories have always served as great source material throughout the history of film, yet I can’t recall a really good telling of Noah’s adventure. From what I can tell in this preview, the movie doesn’t appear to be an exact telling, but rather a modernized reimagining. I’m surprisingly eager to see this, and I’ll likely do so on the largest screen possible. <\/p>\n

If Warner Bros. could reboot the Wicked Witch of the West, why shouldn’t Disney do the same for one its most villainous witches of all time? After all, the castle featured in this evildoer’s story still stands monumentally proud in the middle of Disneyland. I’m a bit of a Disney fan, so watching this live-action adaptation of ‘Sleeping Beauty’ told from the perspective of the vengeful witch is a no-brainer. Even though Elle Fanning’s accent is already grating to my ears, Angelina Jolie looks freakishly malevolent. <\/p>\n
