Talking with Johnny Knoxville for a brief moment was very satisfying. He’s a lot of fun and does a great job with Arnold Schwarzenegger in ‘The Last Stand’. As a matter of fact, Knoxville is one of the best parts of the movie. I had the opportunity to talk with the stuntman and ‘Jackass’ star for a couple of minutes. Unlike most journalists, I didn’t ask him about the upcoming ‘Jackass 4’. Instead, I wanted to know what it was like working with one of his heroes, director John Waters.

John Waters is most known for directing bizarre and vulgar films such as the infamous ‘Pink Flamingos’ and ‘Female Trouble’. However, he also made the original ‘Hairspray’, ‘Pecker’ and ‘A Dirty Shame’, which starred Knoxville and Tracey Ullman. Waters has also been a part of the ‘Jackass’ films from time to time., so of course Knoxville had nothing but great things to say about Waters.<\/p>\n
We also talked about working with Schwarzenegger in ‘The Last Stand’, to which Knoxville said that he definitely wants to work with him again. Who knows, maybe he’ll join the next ‘Jackass’ film for a segment. How cool would that be?<\/p>\n

He’s brilliant. He’s the most intelligent, sweetest pervert on the planet. <\/span><\/p>\n BK: I agree.<\/span><\/p>\n JK: He’s one of my heroes.<\/span><\/p>\n BK: Do you think there will be a sequel with you and Arnold in another movie?<\/span><\/p>\n JK: I’d love to work with Arnold again. That’s like two heroes I got to work with. <\/span><\/p>\n It’s a short interview yes, but both Knoxville and Schwarzenegger were pressed for time as they had to fly out to another city for a different screening. Hopefully, next go-round, we’ll have more time. But it seemed like they both had a great time making the film, and Knoxville might just be the best sidekick to Arnold yet.
