Where would James Bond be without his famous Bond Girls? In addition to the guns and the gadgets and the villains, a good James Bond movie needs a lovely lady (or preferably several) to complete the formula. Let’s vote for our favorites. [Post has been updated with photos!]

Every James Bond film has at least one Bond Girl. Sometimes they’re sidekicks, and other times they’re villains. They’re always beautiful, and when we’re lucky (which is sadly not always the case), they can occasionally even act<\/em>. Yet very few of them have truly risen above the rest to become iconic.<\/p>\n The image of Honey Ryder (Ursula Andress) stepping out of the ocean in her white bikini is one of the most famous scenes in all of cinema, and it’s still breathtaking. Of course, Honor Blackman’s performance as bad girl Pussy Galore in ‘Goldfinger<\/a>‘ is the stuff of legend. Both gorgeous and smart, she was a worthy foil for Bond.<\/p>\n Rosie Carver (Gloria Hendry) may not have been too critical a character in ‘Live and Let Die<\/a>‘, but she’s important for facilitating the franchise’s first interracial love scene. Later, Michelle Yeoh as Wai Lin in ‘Tomorrow Never Dies’ was the first Bond Girl on equal standing with our hero.<\/p>\n Other notables include Jane Seymour as the virginal Solitaire in ‘Live and Let Die’, Carey Lowell as tough girl Pam Bouvier in ‘Licence to Kill<\/a>‘, Famke Janssen as the gleefully evil Xenia Onatopp in ‘GoldenEye’, Sophie Marceau as the devious mastermind behind the plot in ‘The World Is Not Enough<\/a>‘, and ice queen Miranda Frost (Rosamund Pike) in ‘Die Another Day<\/a>‘. I’ll also toss a shout-out to Halle Berry in the latter, though it’s debatable whether she actually helps or hurts that film.<\/p>\n Most 007 movies feature multiple Bond Girls.
