Okay, so here’s the deal. Instant Watcher<\/a>, the site I usually go to for my Netflix information, says that nothing new is coming this week. Streaming Soon<\/a>, which I use to double-check when Instant Watcher is down, says the same thing. We’re losing titles but gaining nothing in return. Oof.

  1. ‘Django’ (8\/16):<\/strong> ‘Django’ is a landmark Spaghetti Western. Not because of its quality or some sort of amazing dialogue, or a particular shot that blew people’s minds. It’s a landmark because of the incredible brutality throughout \u2013 brutal by the standards of 1966, anyway. ‘Django<\/a>‘ also helped to inspire scenes in both ‘Reservoir Dogs’ and ‘El Mariachi’.   2. ‘Made in Britain’ (8\/16):<\/strong> This is a flick that I’ve been meaning to get around to. Tim Roth stars as Trevor, a 16-year-old skinhead who hates just about everything. He’s not one of those cool skinheads from ‘This is England<\/a>‘ either. Trevor is all about “White Power” and has an anti-establishment agenda. This made-for-TV movie is said to be rooted in reality and offers an interesting look at Britain during some of its darker days.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
