Whether it’s his hilarious appearance in ‘Caddyshack’ or a more family-friendly role like ‘Ladybugs’, the man makes me laugh. Despite overexposure on Comedy Central back in the day, I’ve always found ‘Back to School‘ to be one of Dangerfield’s best. It also stars a young Robert Downey Jr.

‘Happy Tree Friends’ (7/21): Craving a bit of the old ultra-violence? ‘Happy Tree Friends‘ will satisfy that need, assuming the idea of watching painfully cheerful cartoon characters hack each other up is the kind of thing that does it for you. The animated shorts lose their appeal if watched consecutively, so take a break between them for a bit of palette cleanser.

Entering the Stream

‘The Kid Stays in the Picture’ (7/19): The Kid Stays in the Picture‘ is an autobiographical film based on the book of the same name. It details the career of legendary producer Robert Evans and is narrated by the man himself. It’s self-indulgent at times, and there are a few moments where the factual accuracy of what Evans is saying seems questionable. If you can look past that, you’ll find some really fantastic stories.

‘The Last Airbender’ (7/16): If you haven’t gotten around to seeing ‘The Last Airbender‘ now is the time. Of course, that’s assuming that you really want to suffer through a film that lacks humor or any sense of pacing. If you really feel the need to slog through the flick, then please be safe and use Rifftrax.
