Do you like videogames? Well, you’re in luck, because one comes out this week! That’s right, one. For what it’s worth, it seems like this will be a really good one. Or, at the very least, fun.

While I never played the original ‘Earth Defense Force’ for the PlayStation 2, I did play ‘EDF: 2017’ for the Xbox 360 quite a bit. When I say “quite a bit,” by the way, I mean that I played it obsessively. My friend Joel and I spent hours upon hours killing bugs and earning our way to new guns. In fact, I was so into the game that I wrote an entire blog post<\/a> about how great this unappreciated little game is. <\/p>\n Reviews aren’t in yet for the new game, at least not at the time of this writing. But the little bit that I’ve played or seen played seemed solid. It’s much like ‘2017’ in that you get to enjoy an arcade style alien-bug murdering experience, but with an improved system for weapon upgrades, class-based combat, and plenty of other new additions.<\/p>\n In addition to being what looks like a pretty cool game, ‘EDF: Insect Armageddon’ is also all that’s coming out this week.
