You really don't have an excuse for missing it at this point.
There's no question that this will be a big E3 for Nintendo. After all, a new system means new games, and we've already heard about some of what Nintendo will be bringing to the conference.
Nintendo is making sure that you can't possibly miss the show, if you're inclined to watch it that is. Not only will it air on MTV2, but on Spike TV as well. Not a TV subscriber? No worries, you'll be able to stream the conference online at the Nintendo E3 site.
Nintendo's press conference will be held at 12:00pm ET/9:00am PT on June 5th.

'Aliens: Colonial Marines' Gets a February 12, 2013 Release Date
Mon May 21, 2012 at 10:30 AM ETTags: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii U, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Gearbox (all tags)
We'll have to wait and see if the game will justify a seven year development schedule.
Gearbox Software took the legendary unfinished game 'Duke Nukem Forever' and finished it, but they've had their own 'Duke Nukem' sitting in development for some time now. But there's finally a release date in place and things are looking good.
'Aliens: Colonial Marines,' which was first announced back in 2006, will finally be released on February 12th of 2013. The game's looking slick, and Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford says that the game is true to the original vision and downplays the development time as simply a misunderstanding based on a far-too-early announcement.
He also says that the release date is only for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC – the Wii U version will be announced at a later date.

Nintendo Will Reveal New Mario and Pikmin Titles at E3
Tue Apr 17, 2012 at 12:46 PM ETTags: Mario, Nintendo, E3 2012, Wii U (all tags)
The combo of the two titles would mean a very nice launch lineup for the Wii U.
E3 is coming and companies are starting to tease some of what they'll be offering. We already know Nintendo's going to give us plenty of Wii U, but it's also been revealed that we'll be seeing a new Mario game and a new Pikmin game at the event.
While the Mario title will certainly be the bigger seller, a new Pikmin game is something that fans have been waiting on for quite a while. It's also something that creator Shigeru Miyamoto has been wanting to make for some time.

Rumor: Expect to see a $300 launch price for the Wii U
Wed Apr 11, 2012 at 10:30 AM ETTags: Nintendo, Wii U, Rumors and Speculation (all tags)
Sources close to Nintendo have come up with cost estimates that put the Wii U at a higher price than Nintendo is used to.
The folks at Nintendo are pretty comfortable with a certain price point for their systems and that tends to be the $150-$250 range. The GameCube launched at $199, the DS launched at $149 and the Wii came out at $249. That one worked for the Wii, but the 3DS had to be brought down from its original price to compete.
According to a recent report, the Wii U is going to take Nintendo right out of their comfort zone with a $300 price tag. Nintendo president Satoru Iwata already indicated that $250 might not be the launch price for the Wii U, but $50 on top of that is pretty significant.

Leaked Information Points to November 18th Launch Date for Wii U
Tue Apr 03, 2012 at 10:30 AM ETTags: Wii U, Nintendo, Rumors and Speculation (all tags)
Based on Nintendo's typical release window, this seems completely plausible.
Nintendo's first ever high definition system will be hitting shelves on November 18th if rumors are to be believed. According to Wii U Daily, an internal email from one of Japan's retailers confirms this date. The Japanese date allegedly written in the email is a full week later.
Late November is pretty typical for a Nintendo console release as Venture Beat's Mike Minotti points out. Both the Wii and GameCube were launched on the third Sunday of November, so it seems likely that the Wii U would be as well.

'GTA V' Likely Coming in Early 2013 for 360, PS3 and Wii U
Wed Mar 14, 2012 at 10:30 AM ETTags: Rockstar, Take Two, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Grand Theft Auto, Grand Theft Auto V (all tags)
Analyst Arvind Bhatia suggests that this launch window will help to maximize sales.
There's no question that 'Grand Theft Auto V' will be big, and Take Two wants to make sure that sales numbers reflect that. That's one of the reasons that analyst Arvind Bhatia suggests we'll see the title as a spring 2013 launch, rather than something to compete in the already packed holiday season.
Bhatia says that Take Two may also wish to allow their game to start selling right at the end of the company's fiscal year, which wraps up in March of 2013.
The most interesting part of the speculation is that Take Two may be looking for "a larger installed base including the potential for launch on Nintendo Wii U." This would be the first full-on 'Grand Theft Auto' game for a Nintendo system and the second overall.

'Assassin's Creed III' Confirmed for Wii U
Wed Mar 07, 2012 at 12:30 PM ETTags: Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed III, Ubisoft, Wii U (all tags)
The company has not yet said what, if anything, will be changing from the 360, PC and PS3 versions.
We haven't heard much about game development for the Wii U yet, but Ubisoft has confirmed that it's going to bring 'Assassin's Creed 3' to the system. What's particularly interesting is that they said 'Assassin's Creed 3' and not just 'Assassin's Creed,' which seems to say that they're bringing over the full game and not just a similar game set in the same environment.
It's going to be really interesting to see what happens with the Wii U version and what kinds of controls are used. Hopefully we'll see more soon.
