Namco Bandai is Forming a Studio Focused Solely on Game Development

And yes, everyone from the former 'Tales' team will be coming along.
When we heard about the 'Tales' team was being dissolved, we saw is as a bad sign for the franchise. As it turns out, this was the start of a bigger move for the studio as a whole.
Namco Bandai has long been both a publisher and developer of games, but now it seems that's too much to put under one roof. The company is splitting off its developers into a separate studio that's focusing purely on development.
The new group, called Namco Bandai Studio, will be formed April 2nd and will take care of projects like 'Tekken,' 'Soul Calibur,' and the 'Tales' franchise. Over 1,000 people will be employed at this new studio, including all of the staff from the former Namco Tales Studio.

Mat Catz Announces the 'Soul Calibur V' Soul Edition Joystick
Tue Oct 25, 2011 at 11:30 AM ETTags: Soul Calibur, Soul Calibur V, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 (all tags)
There's no time announced yet, but we can't wait to get our hands on this thing.
Playing fighting games with a traditional joystick is, well, it's just plain wrong. Even a cheap arcade stick can make a world of difference in the way you experience the game and your ability to execute moves with speed and precision. Playing with a good arcade stick takes things up another notch.
Accessory company Mad Catz - remember when that logo on a product used to mean that it was crappy? - has had a good history with arcade sticks in recent years and the release of another one for 'Soul Calibur V' is damn exciting. Not only is it specially laid out for 'Soul Calibur,' the company says they have improved things from the highly regarded 'Street Fighter IV' sticks.
Mad Catz is pretty mum about most of the improvements. The look of the controller has changed of course, but a translucent case isn't exactly what we're concerned about when it comes to performance. The one change that Mad Catz has confirmed is a change to stainless steel screws to prevent rust from gathering on your joystick.
