'Rust and Bone' Blu-ray Dated and Detailed

The Golden Globe nominee for Best Foreign Language Film is heading to Blu-ray.
In an early announcement to retailers, Sony Pictures Classics has slated 'Rust and Bone' for Blu-ray on March 19.
Jacques Audiard, acclaimed director of 'A Prophet' and 'The Beat That Skipped My Heart,' returns with this powerful, tender romantic drama about two people from very different worlds seeking redemption in each other. Marion Cotillard ('La môme') stars as Stephanie, a killer whale trainer who late one night meets Alain (Matthias Schoenaerts, 'Bullhead') in a fracas at the nightclub where he works as a bouncer. Put in charge of his young son, Alain has come from Belgium to Antibes to live with his sister and her husband as a family. Alain's bond with Stephanie grows deeper after she suffers a horrible accident, bringing the two together once more.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Commentary with director/writer Jacques Audiard and co-writer Thomas Bidegain; Six deleted scenes with commentary; Making Rust and Bone: A Film by Antonin Peretjatko; VFX Breakdown by Mikros; and On the Red Carpet: Toronto International Film Festival.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $35.99.

'The Last Station' Blu-ray Detailed

The previously reported tale of Russian author Leo Tolstoy headed for Blu-ray in June has been detailed.
Sony Pictures Classics has announced 'The Last Station' starring Helen Mirren, Christopher Plummer, Paul Giamatti, and James McAvoy is coming to Blu-ray on June 22.
Both Helen Mirren and Christopher Plummer received Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for their performances in the film.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, lossless audio (still unconfirmed), and supplements will include: Audio commentary with Christopher Plummer and Helen Mirren, Audio commentary with Director Michael Hoffman, The Missed Station - Outtakes, deleted scenes, A Tribute to Christopher Plummer, BD-Live, and movieIQ™+sync.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $34.95.

In an early announcement to retailers, Sony Pictures Classics has announced the drama 'The Last Station' starring Helen Mirren, Christopher Plummer, Paul Giamatti, and James McAvoy is coming to Blu-ray on June 22.
