Tony Bennett sings with some of today's greatest artists on Blu-ray next month.
In an early announcement to retailers, Sony Music is prepping 'Tony Bennett: Duets II - The Great Performances' for a high-definition release on March 6.
'Duets II: The Great Performances' is a visually stunning video companion to Tony Bennett's history-making #1 album, Duets II. The Blu-Ray features the full song performances from Tony and today's greatest artists as they were recorded live in the studio. The musical segments are enhanced by insights on the process from Tony and the duet partners, providing an inside look at this landmark album in an unprecedented career.
'Duets II: The Great Performances' is a testament to the artistry and dedication of Tony Bennett, beloved by the performers who sing with him and audiences around the world.
Specs and supplements have yet to be revealed, but suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $29.98.

'Foo Fighters: Back and Forth' Blu-ray Now Available

The documentary chronicling the rock band's 15+ year history is now available on Blu-ray.
In an early announcement to retailers, Sony Music is prepping 'Foo Fighters: Back and Forth' for a high-definition release on July 12.
A true chronicling of the triumphs and tragedies of the band s 16 year history, Back and Forth chronicles Foo Fighters entire existence: from Dave Grohl s cassette demos to the band forming to play those songs to their ascent to becoming one of the biggest rock bands on the planet--and every Grammy® win and sold out show along the way. 'Foo Fighters Back and Forth' features Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear recalling every stage of the band s existence more candidly and intimately than ever before culminating in a behind the scenes look at the direct-to-analog tape sessions in Grohl's garage that produced the new album, WASTING LIGHT.
The Blu-ray features 1080p video, an uncompressed 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include over 35 minutes of interviews and deleted scenes.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $24.98.

'Billy Joel: Live at Shea Stadium' Announced for Blu-ray

The final music performance at the legendary stadium is headed to Blu-ray this March.
In an early announcement to retailers, Sony Music is prepping 'Billy Joel: Live at Shea Stadium' for a high-definition release on March 1.
The Last Play At Shea, staged on July 16 and July 18, 2008 before a combined 110,000 fans, comprised the final performances ever at the historic stadium. Live At Shea Stadium contains two and a half hours of hits and album favorites, featuring special guests Paul McCartney, Tony Bennett, Garth Brooks, John Mayer, John Mellencamp, Steven Tyler and Roger Daltrey.
There's no word on tech specs yet, but supplements will include three bonus performances with Steven Tyler (Walk This Way), Roger Daltrey (My Generation), and John Mellencamp (Pink Houses).

In an early announcement to retailers, Sony Music is prepping 'Harry Connick, Jr.: In Concert on Broadway' for a Blu-ray release on March 1.
PBS will also broadcast the concert as part of their "Great Performances" series.
There's no word on tech specs yet, but supplements will include: A Conversation with Harry.

The sassy diva's Sasha Fierce persona is coming to high-definition in December!
Sony Music has announced 'Beyoncé's I Am...World Tour' for a high-definition release on December 7.
The world tour supporting Beyoncé'S third solo album (which won a record-smashing six Grammy Awards) ran from March 2009 to February 2010 and this Blu-ray includes performances of over twenty #1 hits culled from various shows from around the world.
Specs and supplements have yet to be revealed, but suggested list price for the Blu-ray will be $31.98.

A sweet 6-disc collection for the ultimate Springsteen fan is coming in November!
Sony Music has announced 'Bruce Springsteen - The Promise: The Darkness on the Edge of Town Story' for a high-definition release on November 16.
The Deluxe Box Set includes over six hours of film and two hours of audio (three Blu-rays, and three CDs) featuring re-mastered tracks, never-before-seen studio and live footage, and a 90-minute documentary film 'The Promise: The Making of Darkness on the Edge of Town' directed by Grammy and Emmy winning filmmaker Thom Zimny.
The discs will be packaged inside an 80-Page Notebook with facsimiles from Springsteen's original notes from the recording sessions, featuring alternate lyrics, song ideas, recording details, personal notes, never-before-seen photographs, and a new essay by Springsteen.

The documentary covering Celine Dion's 2008-2009 Taking Chances World Tour will have a Blu-ray release in May.
In an early announcement to retailers, Sony Music will be releasing 'Celine: Through the Eyes of the World' for a high-definition release on May 4.

Sony Music says 'Leonard Cohen: Live from the Isle of Wight' will receive a high-definition release this November - exclusively at Amazon.
The Canadian singer/songwriter's 1970 concert performance will be available on Blu-ray only from the online retailer on October 20.
Specs have yet to be announced, but the release will include newly-shot interviews with Kris Kristofferson, Joan Baez, and Judy Collins.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $26.98.

Chris Botti 'Live in Boston' to Play Blu-ray this March

Sony Music has announced its latest high-def music release, bringing 'Chris Botti: Live in Boston' to Blu-ray in late-March.
Featuring the musical maestro blowing through over 20 of his most-well known songs as well as old favorites, the complete 160-minute concert will hit Blu-ray on March 31.
The title marks the second Blu-ray for Botti, following the late-2007 high-def release of 'Chris Botti Live with Orchestra and Special Guests.'
Tech specs for 'Live in Boston' will see a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080 video (1.78:1) and English Dolby TrueHD 7.1 Surround audio.
There are no announced extras, but we'll keep you posted of any spec updates.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $29.98.
