'Zombie Holocaust' Blu-ray Announced

The cult 1980s horror film will shamble to Blu-ray next month.

In an early announcement to retailers, Shriek Show has listed 'Zombie Holocaust' for Blu-ray on April 19.

In an effort to expose a flesh-eating cult in New York City, a team of scientists sets out on an expedition to the primitive island of Keto. They are soon trapped in the wilderness, surrounded by a tribe of murderous cannibals and an army of deadly zombies!

Specs and supplements haven't been revealed yet, but the release will be a Blu-ray/DVD combo and suggested list price is $20.98.

'Wicked Lake' Announced for Blu-ray

Girls will go wild under the high-definition moonlight this June.

Shriek Show will be releasing the low-budget horror film 'Wicked Lake' on Blu-ray on June 29.

Specs haven't been released yet, but supplements will include: Bring Me the Head of Damien DeKay: – a prank Halloween piece; Forking: a Super 8mm film starring Chris Sivertson, Lucky McKee, Justin Stone, and Luke Thompson; So Anyways: a weirdo short piece; More City Bitches: deleted scenes, alternate takes, and bloopers; We Be the Police: a Jake and Ray short piece; and Trailers.

The release will also include a director's cut of the film (on DVD) as well as a music soundtrack (on CD).

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $24.99.

Shriek Show Goes Blu with 'Flesh for the Beast,' 'Shadow: Dead Riot'

Next-gen newcomer Shriek Show has announced their debut high-def releases, bringing the horror films 'Flesh for the Beast' and 'Shadow: Dead Riot' to Blu-ray this November.

A genre arm of indie distributor Media Blasters, Shriek Show has set a November 25 street date for the cult favorites.

Tech specs and supplement details have yet to be announced for both titles, but Shriek Show says additional information will be released soon. We'll keep you posted.

Suggested list price for each title has been set at $29.98.
