The track brings back the classic 'SSX' look and a few music tracks from the old games as well.

The new 'SSX' game has been met with a lot of love from critics and fans alike, but the new style leaves some fans cold. Two pieces of DLC will be hitting on May 1st that bring the old games back for a bit.

If the characters are what you're missing, you can pick up the $5.99 Classic Characters Bundle Pack and get seven characters from the past complete with alternate outfits and unique snowboards.

The track, Mt. Eddie, also runs $5.99 and includes nine massive drops, retro music and the sort of flash and sizzle that fans of the older games will appreciate.

You can also pick up both packs at once for $7.99, which seems like the obvious choice.

'SSX' Will Use Online Pass to Unlock Content

EA really wants you buying a new copy of the hotly anticipated snowboarding game.

Companies are trying a lot of things to encourage users to buy new games instead of opting for cheaper used games. The latest is the Online Pass. Games with Online Pass require that you enter a code when you first boot the game. If you don't have that code, you miss out on content.

It's been revealed that the upcoming snowboarding game 'SSX' will use Online Pass to control used sales. There's no word yet on what you'll miss out on if you pick up a used copy but we're guessing multiplayer.

If you do happen to pick up a used copy of the game and you want to get that online pass, it will be available for purchase for $10 on PSN or Xbox Live.

'SSX' Pushed Back Two Weeks to February 28th

The development team says 'SSX' just needs that last little bit of polish.

Game delays are never fun for fans, especially when it comes to a game like 'SSX.' It's a new take on a classic franchise and this additional two weeks is the second time the game was delayed. What separates this delay is that the game's developers are being up front about what's going on.

In a letter to fans, creative director Todd Batty tells fans that these last few weeks are going to be well worth waiting through. He says that every project he's ever worked on could have been just that much better with a little extra time."Time to do all the little things that may not be noticeable during the first hour or two playing the game," writes Batty, "but are appreciated over the course of days, weeks, months and beyond."

'SSX' will now be available on February 28th in the U.S. and March 2nd elsewhere. It's available for preorder on Amazon now along with a $10 credit.

A new trailer reveals additional gameplay elements and exciting new settings.

The latest trailer for EA's upcoming snowboarding game 'SSX' reveals plenty about the title. Most importantly though, it reveals a release date for the hotly anticipated game.

On February 14th you'll be able to cuddle up with your sweetheart on the couch, dip into some chocolates in one of those heart shaped boxes, put on some light music and then shred down some of the biggest slopes you've ever seen.

There's even more to the game than just normal snowboard races. The latest trailer gives you a look at some of the dangerous and outright crazy things you'll be doing. You know, outrunning avalanches and the like.
