Animated 'Dragon Hunters' Coming to Blu-ray

Peace Arch Entertainment has announced it will bring the French animated fantasy 'Dragon Hunters' to Blu-ray in late-June.
Featuring the voices of Forest Whitaker and Marie Drion, this all-CGI tale of the adventures of a pair of dragon hunters will make its Stateside Blu-ray debut on June 23, day-and-date with the DVD.
Peace Arch has not confirmed final tech or supplement specs as of yet, but watch for full details in the days ahead. We'll keep you posted.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $22.99.

Jean-Claude Van Damme's 'JCVD' Coming to Blu-ray

The mussels from Brussels is back on high-def, with Peace Arts announcing a late-April Blu-ray date for the Jean-Claude Van Damme actioner 'JCVD.'
Originally tagged a comeback vehicle for Van Damme on the order of Mickey Rourke in 'The Wrestler,' 'JCVD' sees the actor deliver a more mature, weathered performance in the crime thriller.
Unfortunately, and no doubt hampered by a title that sounds like a venereal disease, 'JCVD' failed to attract domestic moviegoers, and after a brief theatrical run, the film will essentially head straight-to-video on April 28 when Peace Arts releases the Blu-ray (day-and-date with the standard DVD).
No tech or supplement specs yet, but we'll keep you posted.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $34.95.

Marking its Blu-ray debut, indie Peace Arch Entertainment has announced a late-January high-def premiere for the satire 'The Deal.'
Starring William H. Macy and Meg Ryan in a 'Player'-esque skewering of Hollywood, 'The Deal' will arrive on Blu-ray January 20, day-and-date with the standard DVD.
Peace Arch has yet to announce any tech or supplement specs for the limited release comedy, but we'll keep you posted.
