David Jaffe Talks 'Twisted Metal' Demo, Day One Patch, Online Pass and More
Mon Jan 23, 2012 at 12:30 PM ETTags: David Jaffe, Twisted Metal, Demos, PSN Pass (all tags)
The good news is that yes, we will be seeing a demo of 'Twisted Metal' coming in the next few weeks.
David Jaffe is the man behind 'Twisted Metal' and one of the few people in the game industry to really wear his heart on his sleeve. For better or for worse, he says what he means and doesn't sugar coat anything. In his latest video to the fans, he goes over his thoughts on PSN Pass and gives some details on what to expect from 'Twisted Metal.'
The bad news first. 'Twisted Metal' will be using PSN Pass - a one-time-use code that's required to play the game online. The inclusion of PSN Pass means that, unless you're planning on sticking to local play only, you won't be able to go online. Jaffe says that he's against the use but that Sony has their reasons and he understands them.
Of course, that's offset a bit by the good news of a 'Twisted Metal' demo coming in the next few weeks - certainly before the February 14th launch according to Jaffe.
