'Home Front' on Blu-ray

Another documentary from Cinevolve is slated for a high-definition release next month.
Cinevolve Studios will release Richard Hankin's documentary on wounded soldiers and their families 'Home Front' on Blu-ray this June 30.
There's no word on tech specs or extras as of yet.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $24.95.

Cinevolve Sets May Blu-ray Date for 'Sisterhood'

Indie Cinevolve has announced it is bringing the hit English comedy 'Sisterhood' to Blu-ray in mid-May.
The British farce, which stars Isabelle Defaut and Emily Corcoran as sisters who get caught up in a mad-cap plot involving mistaken DNA, the mob, and a pair of dog costumes, will receive its Stateside Blu-ray release on May 19 (day-and-date with the standard DVD).
At press time, Cinevolve has not yet released tech specs for the release, but we'll keep you posted.
There are also no announced supplements.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set $24.95.

'The F Word' Coming to Blu-ray

Cinevolve has announced plans to bring the controversial 2005 docu-fiction film 'The F Word' to Blu-ray this October.
Directed by Jed Weintrob, 'The F Word' is a fiction/documentary hybrid about Joe Pace, a radio talk show host whose program, "The F Word," is being shut down by the F.C.C.
Previously released on DVD, Cinevolve will launch the Blu-ray on October 21.
At press time there were no announced supplements. We're still awaiting tech specs, and will let you know as soon as further details are confirmed.

Cinevolve Jumps Into High-Def with Low-Priced Blu-rays

Pledging to bring affordable high-def to the masses, newcomer Cinevolve Studios has announced a Fall debut for its first two low-priced Blu-ray titles.
Initially jumping into the DVD market earlier this year, the indie distributor will now launch its next-gen support, pledging "Blu-ray titles at DVD prices."
"We believe the new and better format shouldn't be a luxury item, and we want audiences to see our films on the best formats out there," said Arik Treston, co-founder and CEO of Cinevolve.
The company will kick-off their Blu-ray support with 'Holiday Favorites with the Wonderland Carolers,' which streets on October 21. Suggested list price has been set at $22.95.
The studio will follow that up with the 2007 Australian thriller 'The Line,' which arrives on November 25 (day-and-date with the standard DVD) with an MSRP of $29.95.
Cinevolve has not yet announced tech specs or supplement details for either title, but we'll keep you posted.
