'Halo 5' Devs Will Stream A 6-Hour Launch Party On YouTube Gaming Called 'Halo 5: Live'

It's like all those midnight release parties you used to go to, except now you don't even need to get off the couch.

'Halo 5' developer 343 Industries is hosting its own midnight launch event for 'Halo 5: Guardians' on YouTube Gaming called 'Halo 5: Live,' a six-hour stream of content leading up to the game's launch.

On October 26, from 6 p.m. until midnight Eastern (3–9 p.m. Pacific), the stream will count down the hours until the game's release. The event is set to feature developer interviews, gameplay exclusives, celebrity cameos, and a general celebration of the game and its community.

You can start getting ready for the event and next week's launch by pre-loading the game onto your system if you've aready purchased your copy.
