Level cap is now Major, Level 34.
No doubt, the 'Call of Duty: Black Ops III' PS4 multiplayer beta is a huge success, at least based on the number of people playing. The beta shows 'Black Ops III' to be able to scratch some very classic 'CoD' gameplay but with the addition of fun, modern gameplay abilitites. As the official third day of the beta has arrived, Treyarch has announced several major content additions to the beta.
Most obvious has to be the addition of a new map, Stronghold. Next up is a new Specialist, my personal favorite, Reaper.
Reaper:
Real Name: Experimental War Robot (EWR)
Bio: Started as an expensive military R&D project to supplement Special Operations soldiers in the field, the EWR was a cutting-edge prototype combat robot, the most advanced in the world at the time. Budget overruns and embarrassing political incidents left the project all but a resource for scrap metal, except for the one prototype that remained.
Weapon: Scythe – Robotic arm that transforms into a high power Mini-Gun.
Ability: Psychosis – Infiltrate enemy DNI systems to simulate three decoy clones.
The level cap has been raised to Major (level 34), and with that cap comes new weapons, equipment, perks, and scorestreaks.
Finally, there is a new game mode, Uplink. In Uplink, players attempt to control a downed satellite, which must be directed into the enemy's goal.
