This is big.
At some point, the hype for 'Batman: Arkham Knight' will reach a high point, after which, players will finally get to experience Rocksteady's latest foray into the world of a very popular set of characters, but that high point is still to come. And because Batman is more than just a suit, or a car, or even a rogues gallery, fans will want to know that in 'Arkham Knight' there will be allies, and those allies will be playable.
No less than three other costumed Batman pals will be playable in the game's main campaign. Warner Bros. is calling the mechanic "Dual Play" as allies like Catwoman won't just have a brief segment or two (as in past games) but will be a real-time option. In various situations, including free-flow combat, players will be able to switch between these characters.
One such game that did something like this well was 'Grand theft Auto V,' which often had playable characters looking out for each other.
