Developer promises "numerous improvements"
Those looking to get ther vehicular mayhem on outside of Steam Early Access will be left waiting just a little while longer, as the Kickstarter-funded 'Carmageddon: Reincarnation' gets pushed back a month from April 23rd to May 21st.
Per the official announcement from community manager Shane Smith: "We've been making great strides on all fronts, and were within a metric smidge of releasing next week, but in our final 'Go/No Go' meeting we all agreed that the extra time was needed. The additional month gives us time to polish various areas of the game even further."
"I know that many of you have expressed the opinion that you'd rather we brought you a better game than release too soon. And we agree!"
For those still stuck playing the Early Access version, Stainless Games will be introducing many of the full title's tweaks ahead of the launch. Stay tuned for details on that. As for the planned console releases on PS4 and Xbox One, no announcements have been made.
