PlayStation 4 owners now have a reason to go back to one of 2014's best games as 'Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor' has been updated to become PS4 Pro compatible. The 'Lord of the Rings' action game, that ended up winning eight awards at the 2015 D.I.C.E. Awards, now runs at a 4K resolution. While it doesn't see a huge framerate boost like some other titles, it now runs at a "seamless" 30FPS, so there shouldn't be any dropped frames.
Developed by Monolith Productions the game has players taking up the role of Talion, a ranger whose spirit became one with the Elf Celebrimbor. The game received critical acclaim for its Nemesis system that allowed players to cause infighting among enemy ranks and watch as Orcs move up the ranks of Sauron's army.

'Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor' is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. A 'Game of the Year' edition is availble with all of the DLC, although game saves from the regular game do not carry over.
