The latest round of DLC hits tomorrow.
Harmonix has just announced the latest slate of DLC for 'Rock Band 4' to be released tomorrow, and it's definitely a pretty big departure from the sort of music you'd normally see in this franchise. Previous DLC releases have focused on bands such as U2, but this latest batch is made up of a bevy of currently popular bands and artists.
The DLC will include:
Adventure of a Lifetime - Coldplay
On My Mind - Ellie Goulding
What Do You Mean? - Justin Bieber
Drag Me Down - One Direction
Leave The Night On - Sam Hunt
Thank God For Girls - Weezer
Each song can be bought for $1.99 each. You can catch a trailer for the DLC below:
While I'm personally not a fan of these artists, it's interesting to see that Harmonix is diversifying the game's song library, which should help it capture a wider audience in the long run. With Harmonix wanting to make 'Rock Band 4' a unified platform for the game going forward, this sort of move is a good way to go about that decision and make the game more approachable overall.
