Liberate the undead with your trusty rifle.
Rebellion continues to bring World War II to gamers with gems like 'Sniper Elite III,' but long-time fans know that the two 'Nazi Zombie Army' installments were great fun on the PC. Now those two alternate zombie history games are being combined with a third installment and remade for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
The 'Zombie Army Trilogy' tells the tale of a last-ditch Nazi plan to unleash a legion of undead super soldiers. Players can go solo or join up with others for 2-4 player co-op action.
In addition to the three campaigns, the 'Zombie Army Trilogy' will also include a four player co-op horde mode with five maps. All three campaigns now have new enemy types such as Armoured Skeletons and Chainsaw Elites. Four playable characters have been added, bringing the total to eight, and players can customize their load-outs.
These are nice features, but the idea is that this co-op shooter, which features the X-ray Kill camera, will harbor a community of online players who play through their favorite missions with both fun and leaderboard edge in mind.
'The Zombie Army Trilogy' is due out on all three platforms on March 6th. The PC version is priced at $44.99.
