Plunged in darkness.
From OSome Studio comes 'White Night,' a highly stylized descent into darkness. No really, the guttural conceit that equates darkness with horror and light with repose is the backbone of the gameplay. With an abandoned mansion as the setting, 'White Night' takes players to a world as monochrome as 'Mad World' or the animated 'Renaissance,' and like 'Renaissance,' 'White Night' is entirely influenced by a French aesthetic.
There is more to the game than the stark visuals and bits of terror. Players must use light to visibly reveal the critical path, and likewise seek light out until the salvatory dawn.
'White Night' is available now on the PS4, PC, Mac and Linux for $14.99. The Xbox One version is set to drop on March 6th.
