Capcom warning users to expect issues.
Last month, the much anticipated 'Street Fighter V' PS4 beta occurred with very little actual playing from an excited player base. Thus, after some re-working and some short server stress tests, the PS4 'Street Fighter V' beta is returning.
The beta will be worldwide (all beta regions) and is exclusive to the PS4. Users will need to have their PS4s up to date, and will need to update their beta clients. Capcom is also suggesting that users stick with wired network connections and refrain from downloading in the background while playing the beta.
The beta test is set to start on August 28th at 4pm PST (August 29th 12:00am BST/ 8:00am JST). It is scheduled to run for five days and until September 2nd at 7am PST (3:00pm BST/11:00pm JST). During that time, Capcom expects to conduct occasional server maintenance.
Hopefully, with the beta (and servers) now leveled up, 'Street Fighter V' can go public in a glorious fashion. Still, Capcom is reminding users that this is a beta, and with it comes the potential for issues.
