Xbox One & PC dates still to come.
With 'Call of Duty: Black Ops III,' Activision and Sony are utilizing a new partnership that follows in the mold of the former Activision and Microsoft partnership. That's why 'Black Ops III' premiered during the PlayStation E3 conference, and why PS4 owners can expect to have early access and other perks when 'Black Ops III' is released.
One such perk involves the game's beta. Those who preorder (do so here), will get access to the game's mulitplayer beta. Those who preorder on the PS4 will get multiplayer access first.
Today, Treyarch has revealed that August 19th is the start date for the 'Call of Duty: Black Ops III' beta on the PS4.
The Xbox One and PC beta dates have not yet been announced, but can be expected to be after August 19th.
As a reminder, July 9th will be a big 'Black Ops III' day as Treyarch will be showing off the new Zombies mode and will also be announcing the Collector's Editions. (Find out more here.)
