Not all ghosts are bad.
Since reveal, developer Monolith Productions has been desperate to make that case that 'Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor' has a real place in the Tolkien canon. The latest trailer out of San Diego Comic-Con might finally convince some people there's something here, instead of some fancified 'Assassin's Creed' knockoff. It's got some spoilers, though.
Gollum might be the fan service, but Talion's wraith buddy has definitely had some major impact on Middle Earth's history.
The game's release date was actually bumped up about a week to Sept. 30 for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3. The PC version comes out on Oct. 2.
