Techland keeps working to make 'Dying Light' one of this year's best.
For 2015, Techland & Warner Bros. scored with 'Dying Light' (review here), and in many ways the game just keeps on giving. Following the recent tease of all-terrain vehicles, Techland has announced that 'Dying Light' will be getting a full expansion called 'Dying Light: The Following.'
'Dying Light: The Following' is described as "feature-heavy, story-based expansion pack," producer Tymon Smektala has shared some interesting details that set up this content as quite meaty:
For Dying Light: The Following we’re adding a number of bold game-changers to create one massive expansion. Something big that will give the game a brand-new flavor. The new map alone is the same size as all the previous maps from Dying Light combined, so there is a lot we’re packing in here. We also kept a close eye on player feedback to help tailor what we’ve created here. Hopefully people will see that this new expansion is first and foremost, for the fans.
'Dying Light: The Following' will be at Gamescom but only for a selected audience, while a large public showing will come later in August.
'Dying Light: The Following' will be free for current Season Pass owners, and will also be available to purchase as DLC for non-Season Pass 'Dying Light' owners.
The expansion is expected for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC later this year.
