14 playable characters.
Chocobos, airships, geopolitics, elemental magic- it's all very 'Final Fantasy.' But then there are the troop-based grand battles. Ultimately, 'Final Fantasy Type-O HD' has been built from two different extremes, exhibiting a variety of gameplay through its PSP origins while being given a full sexy pass to make it ready for the PS4 and Xbox One.
'Type-O HD' sports a large roster of characters, a war-time stage, and a world map.
Of course, for those worrying that 'Type-O HD' just isn't next-gen enough in its visuals, there is the included playable 'Episode Duscae' demo from 'Final Fantasy XV,' which looks right at home on the new platforms.
Square Enix is also offering an exclusive Collector's Edition, which can be pre-ordered for both PS4 and Xbox One direct from Square Enix right now. (The CE is priced at $99.99, order here.)
