Easy way to get ready for 'Mankind Divided.'
Eidos Montreal's 'Deus Ex: Mankind Divided' is coming next year, and it quite reasonably already looks like it will be one of the year's most important games. (See here.) To get ready for this, players are advised to take a trip through the hit prior game, 'Deus Ex: Human Revolution,' and as luck would have it, now is the time to score the Steam version of 'Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut' for as little as $1. To be clear, this is the 'Director's Cut' version which features the DLC, the reworked mechanics, and more.
Square Enix has partnered with GameChanger to raise money for the treatment of rare diseases. One of 'Deus Ex's primary themes is the freedom of human choice, and the GameChanger donation drive allows donors to pick from five different programs to send their donations to, including the GameChanger Charity, the Progeria Foundation, the Chordoma Foundation, the Miracles For Kids, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Where 'Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut' comes into play is that anyone who donates a dollar or more will receive a PC Steam version. (That version is currently listed for $19.99 on Steam.)
I took advantage of this offer on Friday (which in turn, supplemented my vanilla 'Deus Ex: Human Revolution'), and found the whole process extremely easy. For anyone interested in playing 'Deus Ex: HR DC' on the PC,' this offer's charity tie-in is an impressive bonus. (Go here for the GameChanger offer.)
