PS4 owners will still have to wait a bit, though.
'Rise of the Tomb Raider,' this year's follow-up to Crystal Dynamics' 2013 franchise reboot, was well-received when it hit the Xbox One and Xbox 360 back in November during the first phase of its timed exclusivity. Now, it looks like the second phase of exclusivity is quickly approaching, as the Steam page for the game is showing a January 2016 release for the PC port.
'Rise of the Tomb Raider' was always planned to hit PC in early 2016, but it seems now that PC players will be able to pick up their copy specifically within the next month. PS4 players itching to try this sequel out for themselves will still have to wait, though. Their port is scheduled to drop in late 2016.
Earlier this month, Square Enix announced 'Baba Yaga: Temple of the Witch,' a DLC expansion that will likely hit Xbox systems around the time that the PC port of the base game releases. It's unclear whether PC players will have access to 'Baba Yaga' immediately or if the expansion will take some time to port after the base game's release.
