Three 360 titles and two Xbox One games, including one of the best all-time games.
For Microsoft, the Games with Gold Program has been tricky. The games are free for Gold members, and stay with players even if their Gold membership lapses. Still, the selections haven't been the best and until now, did not include the Xbox One. This June though, the program not only gets three 360 titles, instead of two, but two of those titles are among the best of the generation. Likewise, the program finally features two Xbox One titles.
First up for the 360 is 'Dark Souls,' From Software's incredible third person hardcore combat RPG and follow-up to the PS3 only 'Demons Souls.' Then there is the arcade title 'Charlie Murder.' And, finally, there is the (upgradable to Ultra) 'Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition.'
Meanwhile, Games with Gold is coming to Xbox One with both the platformer, 'Max: The Curse of Brotherhood' and 'Halo: Spartan Assault.' Unlike the 360 program, the free Xbox One Games require an ongoing Xbox Gold subscription a la PlayStation Plus.
